What types of gold do you buy?

Generally speaking, we will buy all types of gold, from yellow and white to rose gold. We purchase gold items with purities ranging from 8K up to pure 24K gold. If you are not sure what the different colors of gold mean, please read the following: 

• Rose gold is made by mixing copper with pure gold, creating a pink color that looks like roses and is often used in jewelry.  
• White gold is created by mixing pure gold with other valuable metals like silver or palladium, giving it a shiny and modern look that's popular for wedding rings and bands. 

The purity of all gold items is measured in karats, with 24-karat gold offering the greatest purity at 99.99% gold content. Other purity levels include: 

• 10-karat: 41.7% gold 
• 14-karat: 58.3% gold 
• 18-karat: 75% gold 
• 22-karat: 91.67% gold
